One of the oldest known religions, Zoroastrianism is based upon the teachings of Zarathustra, a prophet who taught that there was one supreme God, Ahura Mazda, and that one's actions in life are more important than personal sacrifice. Zoroastrianism: A Quick Reference covers all the basic information about "the good religion" in an accessible A–Z format. This useful guide comes complete with full-color photographs, a glossary, a timeline, and further readings for each entry to aid research.

Entries include:

  • Ahriman
  • Amesha Spentas
  • Ceremonies in Zoroastrianism
  • Fire temple
  • Fravashi
  • Pilgrimage sites in Zoroastrianism
  • World Zoroastrian Organization (WZO)
