Description

Assistant Conference Coordinator

We are seeking a part-time assistant coordinator to work alongside our conference manager in our New York office. The primary responsibilities are: assisting with logistics for participation at trade shows and coordinating sales team needs for these shows.

 

Responsibilities include registering for space at trade shows, ordering show services, booking accommodations for employees, collecting and shipping show materials, providing on-site meeting assistance at trade shows as needed, handling internal sales requests, researching and ordering premiums, and basic administrative tasks such as updating budgets in Excel. Candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, able to handle multiple projects at one time, able to use Microsoft Word and Excel, provide assistance to sales team after hours and weekends if needed, and able to travel domestically if needed.

Sales Lead Generation Specialist


Description

The Sales Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support inside and outside Sales Reps in the K-12, Public Library and College Markets. This will be done primarily through telephone calls and be coordinated with various projects, campaigns, mailings, etc. 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • College Degree in Business, Communications, or related field

  • Professional individual with superior phone skills and dynamic personality

  • Excellent communication, written and verbal skills

  • 1-3 years Telephone sales/Telemarketing experience – (subscription sales is a plus)

  • High call volume/email volume experience a plus

  • Highly motivated, High energy

  • Ability to make high volume calls

  • Identify appropriate buying personnel and key decision makers

  • Excellent client services skills

  • Must be able to work in fast paced environment

  • Develop new business opportunities through telephone and email communications

  • Follow-up on marketing- mailings, email campaigns, etc.

  • Log communications, phone calls, conversations into database

  • Communicate activities and results with sales reps and managers, contribute in planning and strategy meetings

 

Technical Experience

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • CRM experience (ACT!)
